Pacific Prawns (Fiji)

Pacific Prawns (Fiji) is a commercial prawn farm providing pacific prawns of export quality, farmed in Navua, Fiji.

This property is For Sale!

Prawn farm to be sold WIWO. Sub-division potential (plans available).

The property is just 3 kilometres from Navua Town, on tar-sealed road. 3-Phase electricity, water, telephone and broadband internet are all connected.

The land comprises 240 acres of freehold land, surrounded on 3 sides by the Navua River and the Pacific Ocean. Fiji has the only freehold land in the South Pacific, and this represents only 7% of total Fiji land. This is an opportunity to acquire a unique parcel of such freehold property. Navua River frontage is 1800 metres, while Beqa Passage frontage, with beachfront, is 1200 metres.

The reef, just offshore, is the gateway to Beqa Lagoon, acknowledged as one of the 5 top dive sites in the world. Game fishing abounds on the doorstep, with mahi-mahi, wahoo, yellowfin tuna, sailfish and the great black and striped marlin landed regularly. The Navua River provides safe anchorage and mooring for vessels of all types.

Approximately 150 acres of the property is virgin bush, with estuarine vegetation, which supports a rich breeding environment for marine life, unspoiled by pollution, and supplied by pristine seawater.

Shrimp?  Prawn?
What's the Difference?

They're the same! Generally the only difference is that prawns are known as shrimp in the Northern Hemisphere.
